image © 2004 mleivThis was a birthday present for my significant other. The quote is from Umberto Eco's Name of the Rose, but it also references All Cats Are Grey by the Cure (his favorite band). The text was created using a gloss over a matte varnish and it is only visible in certain lights.
A book stamp I created using my previous Hic Sunt Leonesbgraphic. It was tricky because the final stamp was only about 1.5 inches and the image had to be readable at that size as well as stampable (this was an impressed stamp, not the ink kind).
A book stamp designed for my S.O., based on the weighty latin phrase from The Name Of the Rose; Umberto Eco being his favorite author. The lion is taken from the Etruscan chimera statue.
