I know I am crazy to draw all this when 80% of it will be concealed by overlaid panels, but hey, I am nothing if not OCD. In other news, I might actually be ready to start posting at the end of January. Shocking. At least, I am shocked. :P
This page definitely qualifies as Shit I Never Thought I'd Be Drawing. Seriously, this is why drawing a comic is so great! There is no end of stuff I've spent my entire life being completely uninterested in drawing (like cars and SNOWBOARDING, lol), and now I have to learn how to do it. Sure, I may suck. But I'm gonna learn. :)
Another preview shot of the Next Project (which I am still struggling to name... urgh). I'm not particularly happy with the colors still, but then I never was with Maze either, so meh, I am still of the opinion that more pages > perfect pages.
Here's a peek at page 1. I haven't finished all the coloring/refining yet, but it's mostly done.
Posting this before I lose the nerve. It's a background spread from my Next Project. There will be other stuff over it, but I am a crazy person and always draw the whole bg first. This is supposed to be about halfway between Blade Runner and WWII-era Britain.
