The back of the label with the alphabet key used as a border. This was a fabulous brew which unfortunately exploded on bottling and we lost our last intact bottle when our apartment burned down.

The front of my mead label. It is all written in the Deseret Alphabet (invented by Brigham Young). The imagery is taken from Plan 10 From Outer Space.

My mother wrote an historical novel about an ancestor in Puritan New England and asked me to do a little cameo-type portrait for the front.

This was done entirely by hand. It was my first beer label, but rapidly become my most popular. It has been printed twice on glasses and has spread across the web. The whole thing is an offensive jab at sacred Mormon ritual.

The best pumpkin carving I've ever done. Little kids wouldn't leave after being handed their booty, they were so in awe of the skinny little cat carving.

Ace is a model cat: she is constantly striking poses for us. She actually sat like this until I finished. I embroidered the design on my S.O.'s scarf for his birthday 1999.

I asked my brother for pictures of his kids to draw, just for the practice. This is the pencil of Elizabeth Rose. I also did a colored pencil which I will include later.

Bouguereau was the arch-enemy of Monet and his ilk: the representation of all that was commercial in art, no innovation or spontaneity. I love him. I say, take your originality and shove it. The need to be the "first" to do something is such a juvenile concept!
